John Headland | Associate Attorney

Professional Background/Education History:

John “Jack” Headland holds a BA in European History from the University of Wisconsin (2009), and a JD from Washington & Lee University School of Law (2012). Attorney Headland worked for several years as an assistant in the film & television industry, volunteering with legal services organizations during his free time. When a family member’s illness brought Jack back to Connecticut as a full-time caregiver, he committed to remaining in the state, and became licensed as an Attorney in 2021. Aside from a personal passion for estate planning and probate, Attorney Headland also has experience in a variety of practice areas, including criminal defense, civil litigation, personal injury, administrative law and appeals work.

Personal Fact:

Jack is an amateur astronomer, and you’ll find him on clear nights with telescope in hand searching for planets, galaxies and other space objects. He also enjoys hiking, trivia, board games, Football and Baseball.
